As an avid black metal fan, I'm gonna have to disagree. I don't really consider black metal to be 'dark music' at all or at least for the most part and if anything none of those bands are anyways. Not to mention half of those you mentioned aren't even that great.

Dead Can Dance is legendary, I'm shocked nobody mentioned them yet here. Definitly recommend Dead can Dance for good gothic material that isn't metal.
