Need some direction/guidence with this mix

So I'm the same dude from the 'Trouble with tone thread'

I got that sorted. Have gotten round to a very very basic mix I did last night. I thought I'd just share it here and hopefully get some feedback from you guys that will help me.

Oh yeah and I will be changing the drum samples around a bit, kick especially. And yes that fast double bass part needs some fixing.

The guitars sound boxy and kick is a bit low. Otherwise sounds good, cool music too.

^^^ any suggestions on how to treat the guitars further? I'll work on the kick some more as well. This is just like a 1st draft of the mix.

With a equalizer, search between 500hz and 1khz that boxyness frequencies and make a cut.

The guitars are much better now but the snare sounds buried. Try to pull her more in the mix, add some brightness and presence too.

I agree on the snare sounding buried comment. I like the guitars, but that sliding across the strings is a bit distracting in the middle of the clip. That said, I really like the song!

That's crazy! I just heard of this band for the first time this past weekend on Liquid Metal/Sirius. Ian Christie was doing his bloody roots show, and it was dedicated to metal bands from India.

I'm not an expert, but I thought xMastered4 was the best version, after that probably xMastered6.
