Need some input on this Reamp test

[Contra Studio]

I quad tracked set 1 Orange Rockerverb 100 into Mesa cab V30, mics 57/421
Set up 2, Mesa duel into Mesa cab V30, mics i5/421.
No plug in it eq just raw Gtr mix to test. All mics went into Apogee Ensemble.

How close were the mics to the cab? Sounds a bit distant, doesn't have that clear upfront definition... or maybe the blending of the cabs/mics is causing the smearing...

The midrange is a bit undefined. I think I can hear a time difference between the reamps, but I don't hear any obvious phasing, which I usually pick up on. Blow up the tracks and see if they need time adjustment between the reamps. Getting them in line with eachother may make a big improvement.
