Need Suggestions (Joey Sturgis Drums)

Hi

Currently Im using Superior Drummer 2 and it's great. But recently I came across Joey's website and listened to the samples and was blown away by it.

So im wanting to buy the "Truth Custom Black and Gold" kit as well as the "Truth Custom Emerald" cymbal pack.

Are these samples processed/unprocessed or both?

Any reviews, feedback, recomendations or experiences???

I'm pretty sure all that is processed a fair bit? Cymbals prolly not much if any. I think I heard him telling someone they need to make sure they compress the overheads.

The way I understand it, he has described his samples as "mix ready", meaning they have processing already. I bought the Truth snare and I think his first snare also, they don't sound raw to me, they sound like they have compression and EQ, probably more as well, going on.

I own his detuned toms. They sound good, but they are processed a bit. Thats not always an advantage.
