ner ner ner nerr!!

What's more, I can listen to Turnbull arguing on the T.V. without wanting to put my foot through it.

Not like the rest of the fuckwit belligerents interupting, talking over, heckling from the front row during debates.

I heard that abbott only ran coz johnny told him to, gold

I woulnt be surpised if Costello came back later on as well, he seems relativly more attractive now than ever before as a leader.

Fuck Saturday was awesome. I waited 11 torturously long years for that. Finally! :headbang: At least now I don't have to hire a sniper. I missed all the fun and games on here in recent weeks though, for I still don't have the net at home yet.

I was surprised when Turnbull joined the Liberal party in the first place. Fuck knows why he did it.

Australia seems a better place all of a sudden.

Bullshit he does.

Now he comes out and says he was a better leader a year ago.

Why didn't he challenge, and take it for the betterment of the country ?

Sits back and waits for it to be handed to him.

Doesn't get it, bursts into tears and says that he doesn't want the job anyway (maybe because he'd actually have to do something).

What a fucking pussy.

He should just keep his mouth shut at this stage, and retire into the corner.

"I'm not going to be one of those ex-politicians, and I always promised myself I wouldn't be, that comes out and tells everybody how bright they are and how dumb the current crop are."

WTF ????

Hes more conservative than turbull, but after reading an article about him being pro gay rights i dont like him any more.

Yep. The Liberal version of equal rights is about allowing the same tax breaks and access to super as heterosexual couples. It's a significant step, granted, but I see no reason homosexuals shouldn't be as miserable as the rest of us.

He's for equal rights, as long as those rights don't include getting married, getting IVF'd or adopting kids.

So I'd say he thinks they should have the right to breathe...which is a start!

Lance is the only one who understands me. *sniff*.

And rereading my postings, I can see where the confusion might have come into it. They're sort of fragments of posts that can be read differently depending on which previous post is still resonating with you. The first post where I sound like I'm saying I'm against gay marriage (number 89) I'm commenting on Nelsons "pro-gay" stance.

For the record, and putting on my serious face for a second, I'm absolutely for equal rights for homosexual couples in every sense of the word. Superannuation, marriage, divorce, IVF, adopotion, everything.

I am for gay rights as well but the children issue is a tricky one. I feel that if a gay couple does have a child the mother/father should be in that childs life.

If anyone had actually read about Brendon Nelson's stance then they would know that Phloggy was just quoting him. :) I knew that but didn't think it required confirming.
