Neumann KM184 vs Rode NT5 vs Oktava MK012

Hi guys! I wanted to know, if the neumanns are worth their price and so I did a little comparison with matched stereo pairs as Drum Overheads.

Tell me what you think. I was surprised how natural the Neumanns sound and how much better their stereo image is. The question is, is it worth the price?
(The audio is always taken from the same take so it is a real comparison. The wavs were normalized, no further processing.)

Yea, the super huge imaging on the Km's was the first thing I noticed. Also it has the smoothest top end, while the others have a harsher top end with the Nt5's being the worst of the bunch.

I own the 012's myself, but they're modded ones from Jolly. I would love to compare them to some Km184's like this. If I had to do it all again and had the money, I would totally skip the mid level stuff and get those 184's.

Thanks for posting. For me it was an easy choice, KM184 > MK012 > NT5.
