Nevemore X Soilwork

Soilwork's new album "Natural Born Chaos" isn't very good which would surprise the shit out of me if it even made someones top 10 list!

Album of the year. That's pretty funny. Hell, I just picked up the new The Crowned cd and that blows away anything Soilwork ever did (that I've heard). Hey look, I'm listening to it now.

Tell 'em , your doing your post doc...you don't study nu and old school. Bloody youngie upstarts.

Unless this year sucks, which could happen since virtually all the albums I was looking forward to are being delayed.

Can you shed any light as to which bands are delaying their releases?

Thanks....

Think about it, and you will not need a translater...really, im not being a smart ass.

Everything in life is not HAND FED TO YOU IN A GOLDEN SPOON you know.........

well, Symphony X was supposed to come out in like Feb, but now it's August. Spiral Architect was pushed back to next year. Nevermore's might be pushed back 'til next year. Watchtower may or may not get done this year, same goes for Spastic Ink. I think there's some more, but I can't remember offhand.

I would rather these bands not rush out some new material. It has been a nasty trend for me lately that my favorite bands are making discs that are inferior to their previous material and maybe some extra time would stop this trend.

Thanks again....

jesus christ Trapped, DHIADW doesnt suck, its just weak compared to old nevermore.

...That was possibly the biggest contradiction i have EVER heard??

and FINALLY, someone got my name right, 'Jesus Christ Trapped'...! Thankyou!

- that 5/8 bit out of FIVE MAGICS

My prediction for a really really GREAT album is Spiral Architect's next release... I think they learnt their lesson about the production, and hopefully they will be a bit more in-control of how it goes... that bass sound was hideous on universe...

Yup, that is my prediction, love it or leave it.

Maybe if more bands wrote wank fests instead of songs we'd have more interesting music. I love it when musicians show their chops; there's no point in doing stuff unless you push yourself beyond your limits. And, btw, I love the production on A Sceptic's Universe. The bass does have a strange tone, but it works IMO. The production is crystal clear; each instrument has room to breath. It sounds ridiculously awesome on a great stereo.

I feel the same way!

Soilwork's new one is above average imo, and the Crown is just rehashed death metal which has been done ...oh....1 million times before (i.e. At the Gates, The Haunted, etc.). I don't get the hype about the Crown. Just sounds like shit that was written in the mid 90s reproduced. Do something new.
