New Alice In Chains

so in honor of this new album they should never ever ever play fucking MAN IN THE BOX or ROOSTER on the goddamn radio ever ever again ever. fuckin TIRED OF IT!@ GRR!

Like I said, this album is proof that the internet isn't killing the music business and that crappy music is. It leaked two weeks early and that only heightened the buzz about it.

Heavy music needs Alice in Chains. No other band has garnered such speculation, curiosity, skepticism, and anticipation in the last few years as the new AIC has. The difference between the new AIC's hype and all the hype around the last Metallica album is that AIC actually followed through and delivered a great album. There's actual substance and not all hype.

I'm so glad this was released in the fall as its the perfect fall record. It's also a total grower, it seems like I find a new favorite song on every listen. I'd say Take Her Out, Private Hell and Secrets Known are my favs so far. If any of you have a chance to see them live do it, I saw them in Seattle recently and it was a great show.

My favorite part of this entire album is the nice short little bridge on the first track. It doesn't last long and they never go back to it, but it's sooooo good. I could listen to that riff on repeat for a month straight.
