Thanks for all the kind words guys. I like negative comments as well, as you can get an outsider's view on things/someone who has different tastes than you.
Sounds great! Very clear. Was that with ts? what cab?
Maxon OD 820 Pro was the boost. Rectifier cab was the weapon of choice. SM57 captured it all.
Lolzgreg, it seems like you get a new amp every week! Congrats, im saving up and working like a french whore just to buy a used 5150 for $500, i cant even imagine how much you work for your gear.
BTW that clip sounds phenomenal
Thanks. I've actually flipped a lot of gear as of late. I only have eight shelves, so I only have space for eight amps

Unfortunately, I was saving up for a Fortin Natas (I was also one of the first people to be able to get one), but I had to spend my deposit money for a power regenerator/voltage regulator/ac filter for my studio. It's more important that all my gear is functioning at peak capacity than to own an awesome amplifier that may not even yield better results than what I have now. I mentioned in another thread that "enough is enough." Guitar amplifiers all start overlapping after a point. I think that every amp I own has it's own niche in respect to the other seven it's contending against. There's an amp that will work for every player and style I have encountered, so I suppose I'm good.
Cabinets really work in the same respect. Not all types of speakers are for everyone (that's for sure in my case- some just make me cringe), and I've chosen cabinets that have yielded great results and have landed on more recordings than you can ever think of. A '69 Spec Marshall Cabinet with [Heritage] Greenbacks was responsible for most of the '80's metal guitar tones (some of which happen to be extraordinary). I need not speak of the Mesa Rectifier Cabinet. The Engl Pro Cabinet has a really aggressive and forward mid range that is also V30 powered, yet sounds NOTHING like the Rectifier cabinet. Then I have a K100 loaded cabinet, which I'm still getting the hang of. It has something going on that I think will work great for some things.
Our own Eddy (Raw Machine) called me out for buying more amps as well, but I still only have eight
