Just got the new album and its pretty meh. It's practally devoid of the Heartwork era carcass sound and for worst IMO. I enjoyed the diamond for disease EP but it seems that the new full lenght isn't to great.

yeah i've gone through it once and so far i feel its a letdown from a diamond for disease. hopefully it will grow on me or something.

Damn I loved A Celebration Of Guilt and A Diamond for Disease. I listened to a track at their myspace site and was kinda let down..i really dont want to be let down by the new album as i was really looking forword to it.
thats a bummer to hear. i love the ADFD ep, and celebration of guilt is great but has some filler. ill still check this out.

Eh, the sample track that was here a while ago was actually really good. I'll probably make an effort to hear some more of it before buying.

There are a couple really great tracks but, at least after a few listens, I feel a bit let-down as well. As Mort Divine put it, things sound pretty forced. I am hoping most of these songs will sound better live.
