Rain Fell Within; Band with alot of potential. I would call it gothic metal with female vocals, or operatic metal..like in the veins of Nightwish..yep, I guess that definition works too

NP: Brave - Waiting all this Time
woah.. all these new bands!! It's a feast for us power metal fans at the moments because there are so many great bands now! Where do you start?
Well from the new batch I think Arthemis are a damn fine band, you can download one of their songs from underground symphony. Also check out Sabaton, also on underground symphony. I got their demo and they have some very cool songs, the vocals are rougher (almost like grave digger) and the music is melodic, fast and heavy.
After checking out Northwind SAGA, they are cool. I like their sound. Do they have a website?

I'll second that Symphony!! I think it's practically impossible to keep up with every thing that is going on within the power metal scene at the moment.....so don't worry Ayeka. I often feel I can't keep up!!

I don't think it's finiancialy possible for most people to keep up hehehe..
But whenever I want to check out a recommended band I just download a couple of mp3's and if I get into them, then I buy the music.

It seems that everyone is upset about the posting of new bands here on the thread.
I try to post new bands so that everyone will find some groups they may take a liking to. Most of the bands I post are UNSIGNED so of course, they are unknown. But if you wish it, I will no longer post any new groups, but it will be a loss to everyone to enjoy new music.
If I'm wrong about everyone being upset then I apologize but that is the way it seems.

Avalon. Not a new band, but a unknown prog metal band..pretty good actually.
Their "new" album Eurasia isn't bad..

I don't think they're signed with a label yet, but they're good enough I think they will soon. Looks like they're just starting out.
Something my brother mentioned to me was the cost of the hardware needed to make an album has drop drasticly recently. In the US anyways he said something like $4000 bucks and a sound proof room is all you need. Meaning a lot of bands that would have had a hard time a ten years ago can put together a demo and get noticed a lot sooner. Plus, mp3s and the internet are great for spreading the word.

No fucking way! The only person who would've seemed remotely upset would be me, and I'm truly sorry if I seem ungrateful - I was only playing with the post, the deluge of bands here is impossible for me to keep track of, much as I'd love to...but that's no reason for anyone else to be denied them. You don't have to worry about me at all Thanks to those providing ressaurance *^_^* like I said, I was only having a laff. Keep the bands coming and we'll all enjoy them! I've got to get back to The Seventh One in the meantime!
