New cab day! Marshall MF400A

Snagged this beast for £150 second hand! Weighs a ton and build quality seems great! Really liking the K100 speakers.

Did a quick test to compare them and see which I like best.:

Green is the best blue is the worst (hollow) for me.

Cheers man. I'm torn between grreen and red myself. Blue is definitely the worst (big resonance on that one) gonna retry it next week as it might just be a weird resonance that could be avoided by moving the mic slightly.

Green and Red were the best to my ears however preferred the Red. Green was a little dull in comparison to the Red. Red had edge which I found pleasing. I'm sure with some knob turnage or mic placement, either one could sound as good or better than the other. Nice snag for the price!

Love those speakers! I might pull two of the V30's out of my Egnater cab and replace them with K100's. Red was my favourite.

Pretty sure it was

A - Red - Bottom Left
B - Blue - Top Left
C - Green - Top Right
D - Yellow - Bottom Right

Agreed - sounds awesome dude, you gotta cover some stuff from Ghost Reveries or The Great Cold Distance, both featuring that cab

Cheers dude, I might give that a go if I can find a song within my abilities (I'm not much of a guitar player tbh!) and once I've got some free time, pretty busy with mixing work at the moment! (a good thing )
