So what would you have preferred him to say to get his point across? The contrast of the concepts of "morning sunlight" and "thousand year old ruins" is very clear.

The samples didn't sound particularly interesting.

I'd agree, but it's hard to tell anything from a sample that's only 20 seconds long except for what the production and vocals will sound like.

I have heard the cd in it's entireity and it's definitely Celtic Frost. Yet another era in their evolution. It is a bit dirge-like during a lot of it, but still interesting.
