The Rolling Stones are 1000 times better than the pop queer Beatles... And the new Anthrax Record with kick fucking ass..... I am all for Joey but I do think he needs a make over... I was watching the Alive II DVD the other day (which kicks ass) and Joey did appear a tad comical with teh belt wrist bands and same haircut.. None the less, I am excited to hear what these guys are going to throw our way.

It's about time someone on Joey's nuts was honest about the fact that he looks silly. If you saw him at the mall, you would make a joke.

I normally don't get involved in these joey/john bashing arguments, but...what does it matter if Joey has the same hair cut. Maybe someone should tell Alice Cooper, Steve Harris, Dave Mustaine, Brian May, ....oh I could carry on for ages. These guys don't change their look to suit others, why should they.

I can't believe that it's come down to how someone looks. Who the hell cares what Joey wears onstage? It didn't bother me in the 80's and it doesn't bother me now! If we want to judge how music sounds based on the way the band members dress, I would have to throw away 97% of my CD collection!

I dont find his image that bad, but music comes first. Anthrax have grown with the times, but theres a lot of retro stuff goin around and reunions seem to be the done thing. Granted his hair is textbook 80s, but id rather listen to Joey than funeral for a friend, who put more effort into their hair than their music.

His looks aren't a deal breaker for me, I've seen them live with him and while I prefer Bush I think Joey is a good singer. That said I think he looks like he shoulld be selling denim jackets with wiched cool back patches at the flea market.

I just never thought his voice fit the attitude of the riffs the band writes. It's very cartoonish. Maybe that's something that appeals to a lot of classic fans...but I like the attitude John had, the roughness and overall just his voice. I always found Joey to be the weak point in the band. Joey sounds, at least to me, like a cross between Bruce Dickinson and Steve Perry, but with much less control of his voice than either singer. And you know, I bet he'd be great singing a different style of music, I just don't think it fits Anthrax's sound...and certainly not the Anthrax of today. They've grown, matured, streamlined, and gotten tighter and tighter as musicians and songwriters and I hear no progression...Joey still sounds the same (well, with years of wear...). I'm not going to say John Bush doesn't have years of wear on his voice either. He definatly does...that comes with age no matter who you are with very very few exceptions. But he still sounds great to my ears and he fits Anthrax perfectly.

Yeah no shit. I don't give a fuck what Joey wears or how he looks. I like him and most of the work he's done with Anthrax. I just prefer Bush. Not just his voice but the music that Anthrax was making with him too. And Bush is a shitty dresser too.


And KISS sucks no matter what.
