New demo's

That poll doesn't impresss me in the least. We're talking about some obscure thrash metal site here which had a 29 voter turnout, half of which are probably losers that live in their parents' basement and haven't bought a CD since the inception of an affordable CD burner that their parents bought for them.

You're pretty ignorant......

You obviously choose to only read and see what you want to read and see.

Just one of many...

now all go and register so you can "correct" the poll!

I was pretty serious, I visit a lot of (thrash) metal boards.

And where does it say that a reunion needs to be temporary? I really hope for a new ANTHRAX record in the classic line up, as they promised on tour last summer. I always bought ANTHRAX's albums also when they had John on vocals except "vol 8" which was too weak IMO.

What's your point? I would say the vast majority of people on THIS board prefer Bush. Call me crazy but knowing that I wouldn't post here much if I was tired of hearing pro-bush stuff.

The truth is that Bush was in the band for a long time, he earned his fans like anybody else in anyother band. Even though he's gone this is still the Anthrax board where fans of HIS music should be able to post about how much they injoyed it.

You can post all you wnat how you enjoy his music just don;t be so freaking sceptical about Joey's ruturn anymore and be open to the fact they might make a killer album with him on vocals.

Im sceptical about a new album with Injun Joe because the albums they made with him in the past sound beyond dated (a bit like Exodus)... Try listening to SOWN and tell me if that sounds dated?

If you read my first post in this thread about a possible new Joey fronted Anthrax album, you'll see that I stated "I might even enjoy it". And also that I'd listen with open ears. I don't know how you get that I'm "so freaking skeptical".

The only time I've ever been skeptical about a new Anthrax release was back in 1993 when they released SOWN. To this day, it remains one of my all time favorite album by ANY band.

Maybe YOU are the one that reads what he wants to read.

I've heard both vocalists and I prefer John...my preference. Why is that so hard for you to grasp?

I don´t get the "dated" thing ... Among The Living is an Eighties album, SOWN an early Nineties album, both were released years ago and both (as every Anthrax album) can be linked to the time they were released, I don´t see a difference. One could also call Beatles´or Rolling Stones´music dated because most groups today sound different.

Okay dated is a pretty lose term. Take the Beatles for example. Please please me in my opinion is pretty standard boyband shit but a few years later the band had outgrown the genre they created and put out fantastic albums like "Rubber Soul" "revolver" and the "white album".........
Please please me= Among the Living
The White Album= WCFYA

Fuckin hell i cant believe i've just tried to make comparisons between the Beatles and the other greatest rock band of all time without mentioning Tenacious D ................. Dio is gonna kick my ass in hell

I got into Anthrax because of John Bush's voice. I'm loosing interest in Anthrax because the voice I loved has been silenced! I hang around here in hope. Hope thet one day Anthrax will once again be fronted by one of the greatest rock/metal singers of all time. :kickass:

Umm...did you just compare The White Album with We've Come For You All???:hypno: Don't get me wrong, I love WCFYA...however, to compare it to The Wite Album is damn near blasphemy!
Dave is trying to say that WCFYA is to Anthrax what the White Album is to The Beatles. Anthrax grew up, and they grew up with John. As much as I can't wait for a new album, I still think that John should have his rightful place back as singer in the band. Everytime I see live footage now of Joey from the reunion tour, it makes me cringe. Joey is still stuck in the 80's where he belongs. Anthrax have outgrown that now.
