I think the price of these small amps are great for the quality you're getting personally.

I recorded some demos for the ENGL Gig Master Top at 1W, room level Volume so you can get an idea of the sounds that are possible.
1st video shows the features, 2nd the clean channel with some lead and the 3rd is dedicated to metal sounds.

In my videos you can see the final design and it looks much better than the prototype from the musikmesse in frankfurt.

bump for an old thread, now that this amp has been out for a while, what are peoples thoughts? how does it compare to a 5150? if engle's distortion sounds sterile then what amps do not sound sterile? i love the fact that this amp has the 1 watt soak. id love to hear hi gain clips of it with some mic's on it.
