New: ENGL Gigmaster 15

Price seems a steep for what you're getting, same for the Tiny Terror as well.

???

Engl Gigmaster - £400
Orange Tiny Terror - £300

Orange Thunder 30 - £550
Engl Fireball - £850
Marshall JVM410H - £950
Peavey 6505 - £1000

I think the price of these small amps are great for the quality you're getting personally.

Engl Gigmaster - £400 = Amp $750/combo $850 USD

Orange Tiny Terror - £300 = Amp $575/combo $860 USD

So yes, expensive.

looks cheap as fuck.

And I have to say that I'm a little disappointed .....The distortion seems somehow artifial/sterile to me.

Hey Matze, it's an Engl, what did you expect?

how're you doing anyways?

Look at the Videos I posted two answers above, that is not the final version of the amp!

In my videos you can see the final design and it looks much better than the prototype from the musikmesse in frankfurt.

bump for an old thread, now that this amp has been out for a while, what are peoples thoughts? how does it compare to a 5150? if engle's distortion sounds sterile then what amps do not sound sterile? i love the fact that this amp has the 1 watt soak. id love to hear hi gain clips of it with some mic's on it.
