Far Cry 2 is pretty good. Does everything the open-ended FPS's of the last few years (mainly STALKER and Boiling Point) but does them a lot better. The Vehicle system is top notch (something I never thought I'd say about an FPS because I typically abhor FPS vehicles) and the story is moderately interesting. The missions are engaging enough to keep my attention, and the weaponry is GREAT. However, some portions of the map (which is as large as promised) run like shit and some adjustments have to be made to the graphical settings to go through them. That said, adjusting graphical settings is quick and simple, and unlike every other game released in the last 20 years, if you do it in game it's a rapid switch.
Unless you're playing it on an Xbox360... whores.
Fable 2 is lame. Just another game that was hyped up by it's creators and failed to deliver, yet again, on half of the promises made, while still not even being close to fulfilling the promises made for the first. Peter Molynuex still hasn't learned to shut the fuck up and complete a game without making every feature a simple little thing as opposed to what came out of his mouth which is usually "yeah, it'll be in depth as fuck and it'll do this and that and the other thing, and you can do this, and if you don't want to do this, you can do this, and you can choose how to do it like that!". Instead of what was said, you get a game where suddenly you're the evilest man alive for kicking a few chickens and robbing a guys house. Fuck peter, peter sucks.
Fallout 3... I have my doubts about the gameplay, granted, I am sort of psyched as I have extreme hopes for the story.
Red Alert 3, also. Have my faith.
And then... LEFT4DEAD.
