-Very vintage Conn Strobe Tuner. Bought it because I love all things tube powered. Figured it would make a good conversation piece, but I powered it up and it actually tunes much better than my DTR-2000 so I may use it alot!

-I'm sure you have all seen this one by now. My custom.

-My new seven string. Don't like the blackouts very much, so I may switch to EMG's.

-Ground Control. Nuff said.

-GCX to rack mount my pedals and use with the Ground Control.

-Bass DI, Maxon OD820, and Script Phase 90. Didn't realize the 820 was so huge!

-Hafler power amp for the NS-10's

-Mogami speaker and mic cable. Check out the size of the speaker cable(black). It's about 3 times the diameter of the xlr cable.

I think I'm missing some stuff. That's what I get for buying all of this while I'm not at home.

FYI for anyone that was ever planning on getting a Herbert, this thing is loud as hell. The clean is hard to explain, it's like a JC-120 meets fender kinda sound, and with all the headroom of 6 power tubes it's hard to get it to break up. Very piano like, almost has a 'roomy' sound built in, kinda like reverb only very subtle. Channel 2 can go from bluesy to JCM800, then kick in the +/- switch, and it sounds like a VH4 channel 3!!!! Channel 3 does anything you want it to, I can actually see using it more for lead work, but can still be used for rhythm with the gain turned down. And the mid cut control which is switchable on all channels changes the sound even more. Technically you can make this a 6 channel amp!!!!

Never have liked EL-34's before, but they sound great in this amp.

Like I said though, way too loud, I can see why it has 2 master volumes, and you can actually use the loop as a third.....

dudee, amazing! cant go wrong with the schecters, i was looking at getting the atx 6 string model with floyd rose, but got the hellraiser instead with emgs, and im glad i did, it slays! but amazing gear dude, wish i had the ns10s and phase 90!

Nice gear Wolfeman!

I bet you are glad to be finally home to plug it all in. Interested in hearing some samples of your custom axe into the Diezel. Also interested in your thoughts on the 820 as well. I have an 808 but I am considering an 820.

Clips, damnit!

Did you win the lotto or something ? Thats really A LOT of stuff. Congrats, Btw!

That's awesome and all, but, my main question is...

how did you afford to buy all of that all at once????

I'm pretty sure he's probably been away somewhere and stuff has accumulated in that period of time. What's the chances of the stuff arriving on the same day?!

Hahaha, "away" indeed - try Iraq! And Eric, you'd damn well better get a sweet cab to go along with that schtuff (here's two big hints: "Mesa" and "craigslist" ;))

Whats up with the blackouts? I'm looking into getting the exact same guitar, just sold my loomis sig, and I don't want to end up missing the EMGs that I didn't like too much in the first place.

Can you tell us why you didn't like the Blackouts ?

I'm very interested due to the whole "blackouts are like EMG81 but better" marketing thing.

+1. I'm debating about trying actives again in a different guitar, so I'd like to know, too.

I only got to play around with it for a mintue (I'm in Hawaii now:heh:), but I really liked how it sounded into the Herbert. I'll have to do same A/Bing with the 808 to see the actual difference though.

I don't like how they respond to palm mutes. It has a weird 'thunk' to it. I have Livewires in my Ibanez, and these sound really similar. Just not my thing. The 81/85 just has a sound that suits me better I guess.
