New Head

It's my first time posting in here, but i've read alot. i didn't have time to use the search function right now, so i just figured i'd ask. I currently have a Randall Titan 300w head and Randall XL cab. I'm getting sick of the head and i'm looking to sell it. however i'm not sure what i want in replacement. I'm in a thrash metal band, so i'm looking for an old classic thrash sound (Metallica/Slayer), as well as a sort of death metal sound. any suggestions??

i'll try checking those out, i tried a triple rectifier yesterday. and i wasn't too pleased. anyway a peavey should sound good still through my XL cab right? it has Celestion speakers

Peavey will sound good through allmost every cab. I imagine Framus would too

Yes, is true....actually I have the old marshall with g-t 75 in it, and for my surprise my framus head have a full and tight sound...in a future I'll get the mesa 4*12 std with the V30s in it..

If nothing else, go for the 5150 because of it's killer resale value. I think I posted about this a few days ago, but I bought mine 10 years ago NEW and can sell it on Ebay for just $100 less than I paid for it.
