ok, i ordered Mond and Zyklus. they better be good, you fuckers. i bought blind.

though $16 for both p/p is not bad

meh those are actually my two least favorite LA albums.

I've never seen so many mixed reviews for a band, although it's always either above average to omg teh best evar, and never total shit.

I can't be doing with anymore 7/10 albums in my collection so if there was only ONE LA album to get, which one would it be?

I would say Elixir of Sorrow, but good luck trying to get that, so I'd say Weltenganger if you can find it, if not get the new one Andacht.

Just curious but what DON'T you like about Zyklus or Mond?

In my opinion Mond lacks much of the atmosphere that makes their other albums so great. It seems theres more of a focus on sounding "evil" or more brutal or something. Zyklus has the atmosphere, but for some reason I just don't find it as entrancing. They aren't bad albums per se, but when i listen to LA I want to hear their awesome entrancing melancholic atmosphere. Of course, this is just what I think, I know some people really like Zyklus.

Like me. I'd say its their top, with Weltenganger shortly following.

I've yet to hear Mond or Andacht... been meaning to grab them but been lazy about it. Also need to pick up Seelenfeuer, I hear good things.

Last night, I ordered Zyklus plus a couple of other new items at Dark Symphonies, and today they're all gone out of stock! Good thing I ordered them quickly enough!

Weltenganger is damn good, as is Ars Moriendi.

Zyklus is very different. It's not bad by any means, just feels like there's a lot to explore.
