New Mayhem song - "Anti"

I really don't know what to think about this. It doesn't sound like anything they've done before, and is definitely a lot darker and more weird than, say, "Chimera". I have a feeling that I will end up either hating or loving this. Time will tell.

It's definately darker, but it's kind of hard to form an opinion on as well. It has more of a death metal feel to it. I kind of like it, perhaps this new album will be good. It lacks something though, kind of hard to define. We'll see though.

I listened to the song again. It wouldn't be that bad if the drums weren't so much louder then everything else. The double bass is fucking annoying.

Great track. They lost the crystal-clear production (and Hellhammer's awful drum sounds) that made the last couple albums sound a bit too digital, filthed things up a lot and sound 10x better for it. It's a weird track, but it works.

Hellhammer has a strange taste in drum sound when it comes to this band. Their live sound makes me want to vomit and Hellhammer's triggered drums are one of the worst things about it.
