I still thinks its a very good album too 
CW has a lot of good songs on it, but CTE just is a really really really solid album with great hooks and awesome "metallic" riffs.
The whole album sounds "Metallic" which I like. (No, not METALLICA or METAL... Metallic. At least I know what I mean.)

I disagree. I think CTE is way too wimpy, and I don't understand how so many people rate it so highly against other 'Deth albums. I still really like it, it has some great material on it, but it is too soft.
CW is weird, it has excellent heavy production, but it is more hard rock than metal. Great songs which make it a great album though.

to me it sounds like I'm listening to a themed metal experience or something. Like I can hear machinery working.
