I figure the only way Im going to learn is by learning from people who do this right :)

This is the overall sound I have for the whole EP. Just wondering if there's anything that Im not hearing or drasticly doing wrong? I've been working on these songs for so long now, I've lost all jist of whats good and bad.

Critic the shit out of it :)

(The bass stops halfway through, It was only me laying down some rough lines with a 4front Bass plugin for a temp sound)

Sounding good, definitely sounds like Woe, Is Me, which is what you were going for.

What program do people use for those electronic drums anyway?

Thanks man :)

Been writing these songs for ages, I can't figure out if they're good or shite! aha

I just use Cubase 5's Groove agent kit :) Midi map it straight in :) Live we use ableton with samples I got from here. :)

Snares too loud...and the bass needs to come up a lot. I prefer chunkier rhythm guitars, but i've never listened to the band you're shooting for so i can't say how it relates to that. All in all it's a good mix but i think you can squeeze a better sound out of it.
