I'm really not liking guitar tone in mix. They are not really standing in mix - sound like low-passed.
When listened on laptop it was hard to hear guitars.
I'm working with one guy who wanted RAW and aggressive guitar tone, so I made what I thought was right, but he didn't liked. After long time struggling to understand what he doesn't like in it I understood that he didn't liked pick attack in that tone. That was easy fix (turning TS tone lover - bellow pick attack apperance) and I could maintain good amount of hi-mids.
