New mix. First one in Cubase

It's been a while since I uploaded a mix hah.
I've been trying out other pod farm amps (still don't have the metal expansion but don't really need it though) and used SD (Metal foundry) on this one, except the snare.

Really like the mix, though vocals still need to be recorded.
My remarks might be the toms possibly being a bit too dry and the bass might be a bit too present/loud. I'd like to hear your opinion on that.

Also, this one's done in Cubase LE4.
I'm considering using both Sonar 8.5 and Cubase 4/5/whatever the latest version is. Hopefully I can check out Sonar X1 out too in the near future.

It sounds good, but I would add a bit of attack to the guitars, somewhere in the 4-7k area.

The Mix sounds pretty decent to me dude! But yea i think the guitar tone is lacking severly, I actually think this particular tone would sound awesome with like an old school hardcore band, but for the style in this clip in particular it needs more body and basically just more badassery

yeah well I was trying something else. I might just go back to the Pod Farm preset and tweak it there.
