New Monitor Speakers - ESI

Hey guys, last week I happened to pick up a pair of ESI Near 08 experience monitors and i couldnt be more happy with them.
They have a great extended low end with a massive punch.
When I bought them I put them up against a pair of monitors double the price and they just sounded so much better.
Apparently the 08 experience monitors just won an award for the best near field monitor by KEYS magazine.
I know ESI are a relatively new brand, but has anyone else had any experience with these monitors??
I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for some quality monitors without spending a fortune.

i have the Near 06 eXperience. So far so good...
Got some basic acoustic treatment coming up on x-mas and I'm looking forward how that'll change their sound.

They sure don't look like anything special, but of course appearance has pretty much nothing to do with sound (unless we're talking Genelec 80 series), so I'll have to investigate...
