New NAMM shit

Broderick sig is pretty cool, has that European super strat vibe to it.

We'll see if it comes down to an affordable price, and what's still left of it by the time it does.

I've heard buzz of passive sized 7 string EMGs.

Can anyone confirm or deny?

With the amount of new 7 string guitars sporting the extended housing still I would think no, but that could easily be explained by EMG keeping it under wraps or the smaller models not yet being ready for production.

grabbed this pic from the rig-talk forums

Hard to judge from this shitty vid alone but I'm surprised at how tight the chugging is. If they price it around 1000 USD I'll probably pick it up. Anymore than that would be too much for what it is in my opinion.

*edit LOL - what does it look like the guy is doing at around 2:42 in the vid?

Totally want the mini 5150 (thought is 50 watts really that mini?)
Any word on price and release date?

Though if everyone's gonna sell up their 6505's to get one then I might be able to get one of them on the cheap ;)

I plan on getting a 5150III by the end of the year, but I'm honestly not 100% sold on the mini as a replacement for it. Shared EQ sucks ass, even for clean/crunch channels, and the halved wattage is going to change the headroom a lot.
