New Nevermore Teaser

I don't think Kaomao was so aggressive about his judgement...he wrote only his first impression. He didn't say "Jeff now sucks!".
Now, because you like Nevermore it doesn't mean everybody has to agree with you. Moreover he and me said that he changed his style on solos but that he still kick ass. What's wrong?
I wanna remember you that Attack attack received a big amount of shit from you guys, also if Joey regularly write on this forum....so because it's involved on that project you had to shout your mouth! Right?
On the contrary, because this is a free forum, everybody can say his opinion. Kaomao said that solo seems an exercise......so what? It was his first impression. That's all. He didn't criticize the whole new album, Andy, Jeff, Peter, etc... and he said it only one time, he didn't write 20 identical posts :D
C'mon guys

Theres nothing more self serving and ignorant then saying 'I dont like it' or 'it sucks'. If you think that, don't post unless peeps are asking for criticism. 'But its my opinion and I have a right to it' yeah you do. Noone cares though?

The insensitivity in posting negatively, particularly in the place of a person heavily involved in the project is such a dick move.

You're crazy? telling "I don't like it" is a dick move?!?!?
lol

Russel Allen is definitely amazing, but I can't fault Nevermore on anything. I love absolutely everything about them and can't find a single thing I don't like about them.

The albums that Andy has worked on sound absolutely incredible. Those albums are majority of the reason I own Schecter 7 strings (or even got into 7 string playing to begin with) and a Dual Rectifier, not to mention making me want to get into recording my own stuff, just because I had became interested in album production, almost purely because of how good this stuff is.

This new album is going to be fucking amazing! That video of Jeff playing the new song just gets me even more excited!

The combination of Nevermore and Andy Sneap pretty much can't do wrong in my eyes. I know it will end up being another one of my all time favourite albums, and that just makes me want to jump around with excitement.

Jeff drew a (comparatively) huge crowd at his Musikmesse demo. Several hundred people shoving around that tiny demo stage, even way before he eventually started. His popularity really sky-rocketed in the last years.

I thought it was kinda funny that they taped up his amp settings when he was done. Ha ha.

Jeff Waters' demos were less crowded but slightly more entertaining IMHO. ;)

I was actually supposed to be there at the H&K booth (I'm creating the official samples for their HP, and there will be Lasse Lammert presets), but I couldn't fucking make it cause I'm too busy with work and deadlines atm...sucks, would have loved to come

I was actually looking for you but figured you didn't make it. ;)

When Jeff was done with his second demo at the H&K booth he immediately went over to Gibson to do the same again. Must be fun to play 'Alison Hell' 6 times a day.

Damn this is gonna kick so much ass. There is a reason I bought his schecter, and thats so I can pick it up and pretend to play like him lol. Im sure Andy will have provided the best possible "sheen" for the whole event too. Also, Yowzerz! All Mao did was voice his opinion- give him a break there :D.

i just love the way people comment on here. You are talking about most probably the best guitar player I've ever recorded so expect me to throw shit back at you when I see opinions like this. I haven't seen another player in the business come close to Jeff.

*The Sneap Forum is a pretty cool guy.. He throws shit at people and doesn't afraid of anyone*

Yeah, Schecter also got interesting for me when I heard/saw Nevermore stuff the first time...still thinking about a Schecter 7strings as my next guitar sometime....

No doubt about that

I just think it's a pitty, because the rest of the music is amazing....I'm just not a fan of the voice, and also the fact that he is a very skilled singer can't change that for me.
But I like the Loomis solo album a lot

I've got into Nevermore a lot over the last few weeks, and thats what pushed me to get a Schecter 7 string instead of a Ibanez :D But I'll never be able to use it like Jeff :D

Loomis is one of the best metal guitarists EVER, and apparently he can play piano quite well too. It doesn't matter whether you like a riff/lead or not. We don't care... There are that many more people who DO like it.

Also, which amp was used for reamping the Engl SE tracks? (yep, I had to bump that unanswered question. haha)

Geez, everyone has an opinion don't they.

The teaser sounds cool and is just that: A teaser. Any self-respecting metal head knows that Loomis plays sick riffs & solo's. He is an identifiable player with a unique style. This counts for a lot more than silly subjective opinions about whether his solos or riffs are cool, inspired or whatever. Just be happy that you are going to get an album that is going to be totally pro. A unique band whose album will be well composed, well performed, and well mixed.

That's what matters. Everything else is subjective.

Good god, listened through to both videos. I quit. Lasse, you can stop mixing the album, LOL....

The new NM album really is going to be retarded.
