So, is this a completely new album or a remake or something?

EDIT: And why the hell don't I just go to their website to check it out?

Anyway, has anyone heard it? I love their "Classica" and "Novembrine Waltz" CDs, will "Sidereal Shores" be a good buy for me in this case?

I heard they changed the title to Dreams d'Azur, and it's supposed to be a re-recording of their first album, Wish I Could Dream It Again. The material is a bit different from Classica and Novembrine Waltz, and I haven't really listened to it enough to give a good opinion on it. I think it's really great that they're re-recording it, as the recording quality on the first album isn't all that great.

Yes, the album is called "Dreams d'Azur" and it IS a re-recording of the first album. I received a CDR of this from Carmelo and it's very faithful to the original. They even got the original keyboard player and guitarist to participate!

Here's an mp3 from the new album:

And you can compare it to the version found of their mp3.com page (http://mp3.com/novembre)

I would've preferred new material, since I've had "Wish..." since it came out. The material is not as strong as their recent output so it may sound like they've regressed a bit. Even so, it's cool to see that they were playing this music since 1994/1995. They were definitely innovative!

Why are they re-recording it, was the mix that bad on the old stuff?
