i own the new opeth, and im totally blown away by it. very good

agreed chrome. its supposed to be a mix of the albumns (e.o.r.) but i hope the mix is more poe and dnb than anything.
i really think the new opeth owns, and im leaning towards deliverence as well

i have a feeling the new opeth may drop down my list as more cds come out this year. its a great album, but i'm finding the more i listen to it, it doesn't stand up to their older stuff, like my arms your hearse

but still incredible ...

though i rank it below the new strapping young lad
but better than the new king crimson
and massive attack.

This thread is funny, the answers even funnier! Serioulsy, sure Opeth kicks ass and i'm sure the new Opeth kicks ass. But honestly folks. EoR is going to rape the whole fucking world. I can't wait. Nevermore have yet to anything bad or wrong with their music, and I'm going to assume that will be the case with EoR. I hold every bit of music Nevermore creates and releases in the highest regards. Opeth's Deliverance and Damnation(when it comes out) will not be as good
