Hey guys!

I'm a newbie but Glenn ranted about this forum in almost every video he ever made so I decided to give this a try :D I'm setting up a build and it will be mostly used to compose/record guitar + bass + MIDI instruments, then gaming and not really frequent but rather passionate use of either Premiere or DaVinci (still haven't decided on which one I like better cause my current PC can't even run them ;__; )

Either way - I'm baffling myself whether I should go AMD or Intel route, and as much as I love Intel (long time user) I just can't justify going for it at the moment. The built-in features of Intel doesn't even fair anymore cause the video editing tools can suck computing power from GPU as far as I got into research.

Below are two build I'm comparing between:

1)
MB: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite V2
PCU: Ryzen 5 5600X
RAM: G.SKILL DDR4, 32 GB, 3200MHz, CL16
Storage: Western Digital Black SN750 1 TB M.2, Seagate BarraCuda 2 TB 3.5" SATA III
PSU: Corsair RM750 (CP-9020195-EU)
Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212X
Case: be quiet! Pure Base 500DX (BGW37)

2)
MB: Gigabyte Z490 GAMING X AX
PCU: Intel I-10700K
RAM: G.SKILL DDR4, 32 GB, 3200MHz, CL16
Storage: Western Digital Black SN750 1 TB M.2, Seagate BarraCuda 2 TB 3.5" SATA III
PSU: Corsair RM750 (CP-9020195-EU)
Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212X
Case: be quiet! Pure Base 500DX (BGW37)

I now run Focusrite and Reaper (planning to go for Cubase in a next year or so), what should I go for? I'm planning on staying with Focusrite and upgrading to Clarett along the way, current unit is 2i4 2ng gen.

Also GPUs are almost non-existing at this point but I'll try and get some 5700XT or 30xx in a month or so when (if) the prices normalize in Poland ;)

Can you help a brother out? Is there any difference in recording performance and compatiblity with recording gear?
