Ugh ... as a big fan of the Painkiller record, I must say this is pretty terrible. Really terrible actually ...

I always laugh how Painkiller is NOW considered a 'classic' Priest album. When it dropped in 91, metal was on the way out, and this album was massively ignored - even by metal-heads of the time...

It was amazing though - but I think at the time, people were getting a little sick of the Priest sound. Same for Maiden and a lot of the big bands of that time.

Glad to see it's been rehabilitated... it IS killer!

Painkiller was a fucking full on shred record, jesus the leads are amazing. KK and Glenn really killed it on Painkiller.
