new Sentenced

I really like the album, it's simple but sometimes that works just fine!! Melancholic rock through the record, I also saw them live few times and they were good!

I had a listen to it in a record store... didn't really excite me on first listen. I'd give it a chance though by downloading some mp3s if I had a tool capable of finding anything (kazaa is pathetic). Who the fuck said mp3 sharing would ruin the record industry??

I LOVE the new CD!!!!!!!

It is simple, but the songs simply ROCK! Everything about this record is great:
- it's catchy as hell!
- the production FORCES you to head-bang!
- the chorus' simply propel you to sing along & go nuts!

Sentenced has slowly become one of my favorite bands!
Every album since "Amok" has gotten better than it's predecessor!!!

Great band!!!

no, the lyrics from 'frozen' and even 'crimson' fit the music.

'on day zero my mother was expecting.... the worst
and out of my father's ass i was born, feet first.

"oh, no"

the most horrendous piece of feces ever forced
to be disposed of is what i was created for'

that's not poetic, that's just ridiculous.

I feel it's kinda run-of-the-mill from them (about time they added something new to their forumla, I think), but it's a very catchy album with alot of good song. Miika is now my favourite guitarist, damn his lead work is nice. As soon as I heard 'cross my heart and hope to die' I knew I had to figure out the solo, I've played along with that so many times I've lost count.....

I didnt thought they needed poetic lyrics that wasnt my point. Crude lyrics are good to express crude feelings. Not everyone needs to write a 10 page poem to say hell i just wanna blow my brains unto the wall. It might be not for everyone but it seems honest and straight foward, i like that in simple straight forward depressed music. Shure sometimes is nice to have some little artistic vision but a lot of bands to them are just whinning for hours saying crap about the starts and the seas and the dark and whatever, just give me a short concrete song with raw concrete lyrics.

Simplicity ( both in music and lyrics ) is a lost art today...

simplicity i can understand. crudity detracts from their message.

I love the new CD. I got it a while ago and listen to it quite often. However, I will say that I enjoy Crimson more. I just think Crimson is slightly better than TCWL, partly because the songs are more memorable, and I think the lyrics are much better written.
