Sanity is too overrated
Okay, just got done listening. Not bad. Definitely different, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Not sure if it was just me or not, but one part of the song with the guitar and the drums reminded me of Slayer. Another part had like an 80's sound to it. I would really love to be able to hear those other songs that got "leaked", but Google turned up nada. Guess I'll have to be content with the one song for now.

I definately do not say Asator sucks. I do love this Song as well as most of the other AA Songs. And I totally love the Breakdown and ultradeep vocals in there.
In the case of Asator the break fits totally well into the Song because it's a pretty rough and brutal song that has just got a "moderate" amount of melody in it. More kind of a background to the whole thing not one of the main aspects of it.
Twilight of the Thundergod is pretty opposite to Asator in the amount of melody that is in it. The melodies are a big outstanding part of this one. So it's not the breakdown itself that bothers me, but the gap between it and the rest of the song which is just to big imo.
Enough said. This song is still at least a 9.5 out of 10

No breakdown in TotTG. Sorta a breakdown in Asator, not really. More of just a groovy heavy bit.
Not that it matters, but it annoys me when people talk about an AA song having breakdowns like they're a fucking deathcore band now.
As far as the "breakdown" in twilight, it sounds fine to me, but I felt the song lacked a really strong, epic central melody or badass riff.
I'm 17. And fanboyism has become rampant. In fact, I think the fact that this song seems slightly worse than expected has made the fanboyism even more rampant, as if we're trying to deny to ourselves that this song isn't quite as good as it should be.

Was just the way for me to describe this part of the Song which, imo, does not fit too well into the whole thing while in Asator the "slower/groovy" part
does fit pretty much perfect.

well, I'd say that the new one is gonna be the most inventive album of theirs.
Hell, they even have guests on it god damn, what else shall they do, become fuckin like In Flames?
I think this album will even top "Fate of Norns" which is my absolute favorite (yeah I know most people don't like it that much)
