We've had a Special Notices setting on TEoF for some time for those who only wish to receive special notices from the list, but using it is frankly a bit more hassle than it's worth for the occasional notice. A new list was created as a sister list to TEoF, & is called TEoF_News. This will be an announcement-only list (like a newsletter), not a discussion list; so for those who only wish to get SymX news & don't care to have to deal with all the other conversation on TEoF, this list is the answer.
**Note: TEoF list members will get the same announcements as TEoF_News list members; they'll go to both lists simultaneously.
To join TEoF_News:
1) Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TEoF_News/ and subscribe

Since only the moderators can post to this list, and they'll only do so when there's news or announcements to share, this list will be very low traffic. As such, the Individual Mails setting should be suitable for everyones needs; PLEASE do not use the Special Notices mode, or you won't get any mail, as that delivery method will not be used.
