Thanks for the feedback, boys! I think we have a lot of work to do before I'm satisfied with the track, perhaps a little more dynamics with the vocals or the like. We'll keep working for sure. The songs in development now absolutely slay these last two.

I have to agree with smy, I feel it's much more generic musically than your last one - I pretty much think there's no hope left for harmonized third riffs. But good effort and great production, and I loved your last!

Sounds great, but there's definitely some compression "pumping" going on that's really distracting.

Hahaha... all right, but I still want this one, if you're willing! Reminds me of Dark Tranquillity in the intro and verse, and I love it. Someone on the first page said it sounds like generic Swedish melodeath or something, but it seems to me like hardly anyone's doing it well anymore, even though it was all the rage 6-8 years ago, so I'm always glad to hear it when it's good, and yours is! I WANT TRACKS!

I dunno if Jeppe will post the tracks or not..but thanks for the comment dude! DT is one of my prime influences, so it's always good to hear thier name next to ours. But...the next song that will be up in a few days is far different from this, vocally speaking You might have more fun with that one..

OK I did some more mixing hope this one is better and worked with the compression .

I would lower the compression even more, maybe loose some low end on the Kick and bass, 'cause that's what makes it pump so much. Also, cut some (1-3db) around 6khz and boost the same around 1khz on the vocals to make them less harsh and more prominent. The mix causes ear fatigue before the song ends now. At least in the studio.
