I have a few questions for you guys on the boards here. Im fairly new to Digital home recording. And did have ALOT to spend on gear.
i currently have Cakewalk Sonar 3 Studio Prodicer Edition
Fruity Loops 4 Studio Producer edition.
My questions are this.
Rythm Guitars Effects or no effects ?
Kick drum whats a good frequency to boost for a good tick ?
Snare & Guitars competing in the mix, whats a good snare frequency to boost?
Where in the spectrum should droped D tuned guitars sit.
What do you reccomend i do to get decent vocals with a shitty mic ?
What exactly is Mastering ?
