New to the board... and one of my mixes...

Hey yall, ive been lurking on this board for ages getting samples and what not, and loving them queen tracks from the ftp...

Ive been doing mixing/engineering for a good few years now. My main passion is guitar but i do play drums, banjo and bass

so just thought id upload one of my tracks, its a demo for my new band, im doing everything except guitars on this. messed up a bit on the mastering limiter. this is the first mix as i still need my mate to add vox so i can then mix accordingly. The track is in my file on the ftp (MetalJonesy) or alternatively:

haha cheers for the comments guys really appreciate it, all recorded at home in my bedroom too and the guitar amp is.....

Peavey XXL through a Marshall 1960A miced with an SM57 aimed at the join between the speaker cone and dome and a sennheiser e609 on a different speaker to capture more of the lower frequency end.
