The post was good to me today!

Got my Schecter Hellraiser C7 7 string 2008. Its transparent red with flamed maple top, abalone binding, string through with 2 emg 707tw's.

Tried the neck pickup split to single coil. Man it sounds awesome. I really like these emg 707tw's.

Congrats! I love my Hellraiser Avenger, sounds better than any thing else I have recorded. Next buy will be the Loomis 7 for sure.

I was tied between this and the loomis model. Desided on this as i didnt want another floyd guitar.

Yeah i know but i have also heard it has a crappy cutout on the lower horn making it hard to reach the upper fretts. Anyway im totally happy with this one so alls good.

Why does the site show the 707tw's on the white version only??? Weird.
I'm kind of looking for one now in red like that also. I wonder if I should get the 2008 model with 707tw's. Did you get a deal on it?

I got mine from a ebay store from the US. I live in Australia. So it was alot cheaper.

If you can find one with the 707tw pups i would recommend it as being able to split the neck pup if fucking great for leads and clean parts.

Is it just the neck or can you split the bridge also? Not that it matters much. Just curious.

Yes both can be split via the volume knob (push/pull knob). This guitar has the best neck pup sound i have ever played (when split).
