New Varnisher tune!

@Yannick: Kyle mixed it :)

I'm waiting for Roadrunner or someone huge to pick this up and run with it!!:wave:

Fo sho x1,000,000. If this next album of theirs doesn't get them signed on a big label, I honestly don't know what to think about the music industry any more.

Awesome track Kyle. For some reason I was expecting to hear deathcore or something along those lines. Really pleasant surprise, and a lot more along the lines of stuff I work on day to day.

Also curious who's mixing this one in the end!

sounds killer!!!!! Give us some info about the drum!!!! I really really love the snare!!!! Who mix it?

Thanks dude! This is actually some of the first live drums I have tracked so I am stoked it came it pretty solid. Snare is blended with the real snare. The real snare was a pearl masters series. I blended it with the wages snare about 70/30.

And we shall release who is mixing it as soon as we can guys. I am just stoked to not have to do it for once hahaha.

Thanks again for all the kind words.

@Ermz yeah we kind of made some changes bc we were all a little bit on the outs with doing anything brutal metal wise. I mean it still has its heavy points but we just needed a change in pace.

would be glad to know about those guitars.
sounds really good, what amp, what mic and stuff.
i guess its a low tune on the guitar right?

Nah its just Drop D. I am kind of over tuning down in any way. The amps are a weird blend. Its Fortin Natas for the most part and then underneath theres VHT Pittbull to add some upper midrange aggressiveness. Not sure what mic was used on the Natas, but the Pittbull was just a 57 on a Framus Dragon 4x12.

wow. there's a certain quality to your songwriting that sets you apart from most of the stuff out there. which songs off of the meridian ep will make it onto the album, if any?

and did that "saw" sound come of a certain wah pedal or something?

Nah just a little EVH hand trick where you do a fast hammer on pull off movement with your left hand and slide the palm of your right hand towards the headstock and it creates a bunch of harmonics.
