Next years lineup...

With a name like Wolverine I was expecting something with a little more.. well balls. Not my speed.

Armored Saint!!! No kidding. Awesome.

I always tried to get into Soilwork, never clicked with me even though I bought 4 albums.

I've been into Xandria for quite some time, would be great to see them live, even with new singer.

Myrath's latest is sounding strong.

Been waiting for the Damnation Angels domestic release. I'll be picking up their EP ASAP :)

Wolf & Ashes Of Ares sound like possible crowd stealers in the vein of Circle II Circle/Brainstorm/Orphaned Land performances of PP past. I'll be picking up their stuff.

Circus Maximus? Can't go wrong. One of the best live bands I've ever seen this side of Here Comes The Mummies (and that says a LOT).

Shadow Gallery? Never heard much from them. Just listened to clips from their recent release and I like everything I heard. Was it me or do I hear some Crimson Glory in them thar musicians?

Reinxeed sounds kinda cool. Don't get the name though.

Heaven's Cry may take a couple listens, but nothing grabbed me from the clips I found.

Sabaton I have yet to pick up an album - any suggestions where to start?

and ARMORED SAINT?? hellllll yes.:kickass:

Strong lineup as usual, you have never done wrong by me, even on the years I could not attend. I'm doing my best to go next year!

Now this is my kind of lineup. It will be fun to see CM and Sabaton again, Myrath and Xandria should be good too. For me though it's all about Wolf and Armored Saint. Wolf really kick-started the whole traditional metal revival and are huge on my must-see list, and Armored Saint is legendary. They're one of the real unsung heroes of American power metal. I'm already counting down the days.

Are you sure you like metal?

If you ask Alan of Primordial, no.

But then, this is why I don't really comment on a lot of stuff about the lineup and things. My opinions on a lot of topics are more meaningless than most, because I live in this little secluded bubble of music I enjoy, and I know it.

The post I made wasn't a slam on the lineup or anything, just a dig on my own ignorance. Sabaton is what gets my balls churning and that's what I was yelling for, and having them be a headliner was absolutely the best thing that video could've given me.

CIRCUS MAXIMUS and SHADOW GALLERY!!!!!:rock::rock:

Do we know yet who the band is that approached Glenn out of the blue? SG would be my guess...

I'm happy with the lineup, though the only band, before I saw the video, that I was sure would be playing was Damnation Angels. Hopefully, they will have a worldwide release of Bringer of Light before next year.

I was looking through their facebook just now and see that they signed a deal with a label in late July. A worldwide release should be coming "soon". In this case, "soon" probably means February .

What do you "even with [the] new singer"? The new singer is actually good, compared to the crappy former singer they had. They're actually getting noticed and put out a great album! I'm leaning strongly towards coming for the first time since PP7 or 8, whichever it was, especially if Xandria isn't on 70k this year.
