I was really rather disappointed to see a thread about Nickelback, being a canadian from the West Coast you would think that I would support them, but alas no. every song seems to keep getting worse. granted his voice may sound good at times, but the lyrics are really where the band is lacking.

This is not attack against who or what you like but Nickelback is just another one of those "Post-Grunge" bands that has been filling the radiowaves trying to bring back what Nirvana did in the early 90s. All bands like Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Creed, Default, Theory of a Deadman, Puddle of Mudd, Matchbox 20 etc. all imitate Eddie Vedder's vocals (especially Scott Stapp from Creed) and try to copy the music of bands like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Mudhoney etc.
