Neither is better than the other sir. Both have strenghs that the other does not. This has been discussed too many times here. Nobody is going to agree that one is better than the other. It goes both ways.

Peter was indeed perfect for NMF

Peter did have an awesome performance no doubt ,but it still would be cool to hear Mike give his own take on the album. Look at it this way..... you would have 2 kick ass versions of a kick ass album. lol. How does one lose in this scenario?
