Nightmares Made Flesh

Just one fast question:

is there a digipack version of the nightmares made flesh CD?

thanks guyz! :)

not a "digipack" per se..but the US version of the album has 2 bonus tracks, which are demos of 2 tracks on Breeding Death.

US version > Euro version, in terms of songs

Euro verson > US version, in terms of the album art

Ok, thanx! But if so, what is the "digipack" that someone is selling on ebay right now?

As much as I like RTC 'Nightmares Made Flesh' is better. For one there is 3 guitarist's writing songs instead of just one. The songs are more diverse and written better. The albums flows better. There is tons of great solos, "RTC" had one little crappy solo. NMF has a lot of very killer well contructed solos. The solos just sound amazing and I love them. The great melodic guitar harmonies 'RTC' had are still on the album all over. Instead of just great harmonies you have great solos now. The new drummer is better than Dan Swano who is a better guitar player. The production is better and more thick. 'Nightmares Made Flesh' is lot more crazy without losing the melodic touches. NMF is everything on RTC improved with an addition of great solos. The album just flows better, has better rythmn playing and riffs.

I do not see how anyone could complain already being a Bloodbath fan. This album is everything RTC had plus more and improvement. Don't get me wrong 'RTC' is amazing.

haha opps, I will edit it.

I own both cds and have no idea why I put 'RTS'

Hello!!!! I saw in my country (in Hungary) a Nightmares Made Flesh-version.It had got a black cover with only a red Bloodbath logo.I thought, that this was the US version, then I found this link : http://cmdistro.com/shop/index.aspx?page=item&iditem=18172 . So can somebody tell me,what kind of release was that (sorry,I remember only these things...) ?

In response to the guy on like the main page, about them not selling out...

These are all guys from like, the most popular metal bands... Opeth, Katatonia, Swano and his stuff, tagtren and hypocrisy / pain.... What the hell dude, its OBVIOUS at this point that they've sold out.... they're on a movie soundtrack, they released a special version for the US with new artwork..... they have like a new shirt every week...

Quite frankly I wouldn't be surprised if they recruited Dani Filth for the next Bloodbath cd in the direction it's going now! That actually might be pretty sweet.

Mike's vocals on RTC completely leave NMF in the dust. Just the overall brutality, and the distortion.. it sounds effortless and intense. Plus, we all know Tagtren uses some kind of effect on his voice when he growls, to get that warble-alien type sound.

Why did you revive this thread, ye wanking nutters? :p

Like Mike never used an effect on his voice in RTC. And I wouldn't exactly call NMF a sell-out album, or Bloodbath a sell-out band. I mean, they're not even a real band.

I have the version you're talking about. It's a slipcase version, with the european booklet but with this thing with the red Bloodbath logo over the case, so no bonus tracks on it.

That version was the PROMO that was sent out to whoever gets them. Did you buy it in a regular store or a used CD shop?

It's not a promo, it's the european version. I have it as well. The black thing with the red logo is only a slipcase. As min says.

It's probably the Euro slipcase version. The promo comes in a small cardboard slipcase, with the tracklisting and European street date on the front. The back has the band photo (same as inside the booklet in the U.S version and behind the tray in the Euro version, only without the corpse effect) and bio. If it just has the red logo and says Nightmares Made Flesh on the front, with a jewel case inside, it's the Euro version. Hope that helps.

I know Mike used a heavy effect on his voice on RTC, though that wasn't the point. Mike has done a ton of material with no effects (except maybe reverb) but Tagtren's stuff is all jam-packed with his warble effect. x.x
