Well, the final verdict didn't say Gustafsson was innocent, it said he couldn't be proved guilty.

Actually it was made very clear that he's innocent, obviously to cut down all the confusion and clean his reputation.

And "presumed innocent until proven guilty" is the base of any good law system, better than risking to have innocent people punished because of not waterproof evidence.

Agreed. I don't really understand why they brought up the case again. I guess they thought they could really prove it / he would confess.

The suicide of this kiosk owner inspired the song Towards Dead End if I'm right. He shouted "I did it!" and he drowned himself into lake bodom (this part is in the song, you can feel it, the solo..)

I always thought Nisse was NOT the murderer. Why? Because the same thing kinda happened to me. The top psychiatrists didn't believe into such memory loss. But I got beaten unconscious summer 2004 and I lost much of my memory of that night, the happenings were pretty similar to Nisse's.

I think he'll write it down before he dies, whether he did it or not.

Evidence against Nils was big, but it had a lot of points that can be thought as evidence against and for Nils. Like the fact that the murderer HAD nil`s shoes on when he killed the 3, but theres no evidence that Nils had them on.. Yeah right. Like murederer would take someone elses shoes.. Also, that the eywitnesses had seen Seppo boisman laying IN the tent, being victom, but Nil´s defence said it was Nils.... Also, that violence against Björklund was much more brutal and sick than against anyone else, perhaps because she didnt give any cookie to nils.
