I feel sorry for you SB, after such a long trip...
A friend of mine who was also there talked about fans coming from Croatia (it must have been you I guess) and even Slovenia! :zombie:
I'm seeing the King on Monday in Paris, if everything goes right. *crossing fingers*
They must've been from the only French car I saw there...
They were amazed that we knew about ADX and Sortilege, especially since my friend who was there explored French 80s metal scene thoroughly.
Were these cancellations because of King's voice problems or just the usual business bs? In the Scandinavian tour in April he had some issues (I think he had a cold) but no gigs were cancelled, the encores were just cut a few songs shorter. That was an amazing show anyway, too bad you couldn't see them. I guess they'll have another European tour when the new album comes out.

In the case of the Italian gig, here's a statement by King's manager :
""I understand your frustration. We travelled from Milano - not so far but still annoying enough.
When we arrived at the Reggio Emilia venue, we found out that the local promoter simply had cancelled the light equipment that was agreed to be supplied.
We had heard nothing and at 14:00 they just said it was to late to get the needed stuff.
This despite written promises of the right equipment.
They just didn't care - they had a disco in the evening, which was more important to them.
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience - but we could never have put up a King Diamond show under those circumstances.
Best regards
Ole Bang ""
