.. I got to admit that I was really, really disappointed that the show was cancelled, but the people who blame the band for this were probably not there or they are really stupid! Blame the venue instead, for not checking their equipment before the gig.

Anthrax was really cool, we got to come backstage and have a chat, got some things signed, and take some photos with them. Also got to meet 'Ripper' Owens and even Mickey Dee showed up backstage.

So, in conclusion it sucked that it was cancelled but to meet the guys instead to get nothing at all was not expected, and therefor it felt better when I left the venue.

Actually, they ran through the whole system at the venue the day after the problematic show and everything was working fine. As it did the day before when Sisters of Mercy played.

I've seen loads of shows there and there's never been a single problem like that before. Really bad luck or Gremlins I say.

Soem might try to insinuate that ANTHRAX didn't feel like playing or something, but I refuse to believe that is the case...why just this one gig then? Why Sweden?

They really had a kickass time on stage at the gigs I was at and the crowd went insane, it seemed like the band had the time of their live I cannot believe they purposely didn't play and told some BS about a power surge.

Actually, in a venue that size it would've sounded fine. Plus it would've been something really cool for the people there. Has anyone heard of the band Phish? They would do acoustic / acapella songs at their shows in front of 15,000 people, I saw it many times and as long as the crowd wouldn't scream bloody murder through the whole thing you could hear fine, no mics or nothing. A venue the size of Gothenberg and a crowd of 500 would've been more than feasible to accomplish this. So, sorry Gibba this time you're wrong. If people still bitched, fuck 'em, at least then the band made an attempt.
