Noise

Anyone into noise? I have little experience in the genre, but I have been checking some out because I got this big box of CDs for $20 and it has some noise artists in it.

I listened to a 3 track, 74 minute CD from Lull (a Mick Harris brand) called Journey Through Underworlds and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It didn't have that static feedback type of noise, so that was good IMO.

I have a passing interest in the genre, enough to point you in the direction of Love Torture Records. They're part of a series of netlabels focusing around free, mostly electronic and experimental noise releases. Can be a bit hit or miss, but hey, they're free.
Check the top friends for a few similar labels.

I've only dipped my toe in the genre, but I'm a big fan of Merzbow, Incapacitants, Pain Jerk, Masonna, and Government Alpha. I'd advise checking out V5's harsh noise project Ichorous. Excellent stuff there.

i don't have shame to say that cuz is impossible to know all these bands, even being a little scene.

Reminds me of much more extreme versions of bands back in the day like The Residents, Throbbing Gristle ect.??

Haven't checked too much into NOISE so much as far as today goes.

If I'm off base with my above examples...forgive me..still not 100% familiar.
