I run my 5150 with gain on like 4. TS in front, with gain just a hair above 1, I guess. And it's plenty gainy. My amp will still sometimes feedback if my hand is off the guitar strings and I'm moving around, but as long as you mute the strings its fine. Try Treshold Max and Decay Min, or maybe like 7-8:00 on Decay.
