Looking at upgrading my noisegate on guitar rig.
Currently own the NS-2 and have ran it just fine for years in front of the amp.
Tried it in the loop years ago and it never seemed to quiet the guitar during quick pauses and mute-stops and what have you.
Decided to look up Decimator on ebay and the price of a pedal version alone is around $100-150, depending on the I, II, or G-String models.
I was hoping for a rackmount version because I just hate having pedals cluttering my stage space. Looks like I'll be dropping at least $400 on the rack version.
Can anyone make up my mind for me?
I really don't ever notice the NS-2 killing my tone unless the battery is dying. I guess I can live with it for now, but I really just want most of my shit mounted in a rack and not have to worry about set-up time at gigs.
